1. Summary
Your NORTHERN WIND 120mm (Northern Wind 120mm ARGB 5 Fan Bundle, SKU: BB-NW120-ARGB-001) is covered by a 2-Year Warranty from the date of purchase. If a failure occurs due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the faulty component, or where appropriate, replace the full Northern Wind 120mm bundle.
2. Who Is Covered
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
Your product must have been purchased from an authorised retailer, such as our official Amazon UK store.
3. What’s Covered?
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. This includes:
- Fan motor failure or non-spinning behaviour
- Complete ARGB lighting failure (full ring non-functional)
- Controller hub failure (no PWM output, no power, no ARGB passthrough)
- Faulty PWM or ARGB cables
4. What’s Not Covered?
This warranty does not apply to issues caused by:
- Accidental damage (drops, impacts, liquid, crushed cables)
- Incorrect installation or forcing connector pins
- Connecting ARGB to a 12V RGB header
- Normal wear, dust build-up, or cosmetic changes

6. Quick Checks (Before Contacting Support)
RGB / Lighting Issues
- Ensure ARGB is connected to a 5V 3-pin header (not 12V RGB)
- Check alignment arrows on connectors
- Try a different ARGB port on the hub
- Disable motherboard LED overrides if applicable
Fan Not Spinning
- Ensure the PWM cable is fully inserted
- Check BIOS is set to PWM mode instead of DC
- Try a different hub port
- Test with a known-working cable
Hub Not Responding
- Confirm SATA power is connected correctly
- Ensure ARGB and PWM leads are attached
- Check for hub LED indicators
If these checks don’t resolve the issue, we’ll take it from there.
7. What We Will Do
If your issue is covered under this warranty, we will take one of the following actions:
Component Replacement (Most Common)
If only one component is faulty, we will replace that individual part.
This approach is faster, reduces unnecessary waste, and avoids returning a fully working bundle.
Multiple Component Failure
If two or more components from the same kit fail, we may replace the entire Northern Wind 120mm bundle.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) — First 30 Days
If your product arrives with major faults affecting normal use, we will replace it at no cost.
Refunds
If a repair or replacement is not possible, we may issue a refund for the original purchase price.
Replacement ETA
Approved replacements are normally dispatched within 1 working day.
8. Discounted Replacement (Accidental Damage)
If the issue was caused by accidental damage (for example, broken connectors, bent pins, or damaged cables), we offer a discounted replacement part at cost price. No judgement — just support.
9. Replacement Process
Standard Process
We provide a pre-paid return label. After receiving and confirming the defect, we ship your replacement.
Advanced Replacement (At Our Discretion)
We may send the replacement first to minimise downtime. The faulty item must be returned within 14 days or a charge may apply.
10. What We Need From You
Please include the following to speed up diagnosis:
- Description of the issue
- Photos or short video showing the fault
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
- Your name and shipping address
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BonnieByte PC is not responsible for loss of data, loss of profits, or any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty applies to your Northern Wind 120mm in addition to your statutory UK consumer rights.
12. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, your mandatory consumer rights still apply. Disputes will normally be handled by Scottish courts unless local law requires otherwise.
13. Lifetime Support
Even after your 2-Year Warranty expires, we continue to offer free support, troubleshooting, and general help for as long as you own your Northern Wind 120mm ARGB 5 Fan Bundle.
